In case you were wondering, there have been other Sasquatch sports mascots besides Quatchi. Above, we see Sasq ‘ets, who cheers on the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades… Below is the creepy Strike the Sasquatch, representing the Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball team.
Finally, the even creepier Squatch, who was made extinct when the Sonics basketball team left Seattle in 2008.
Oddly enough, Squatch’s web page is still somewhat intact.

This is Shivers, mascot of the Kootenay Ice hockey team:
Not sure if the short-lived Montreal Sasquatch basketball team had an actual mascot, but here’s their logo:

This is the logo for the seemingly defunct Saquatch hockey team:
And here’s another look at Shivers:

Hi all,
I’m wanting to buy either quatchi slippers or a quatchi toque for my girlfriend, but I can’t find them anywhere! The official store is all sold out! Anyone have any ideas where I could find either one?
Keep checking eBay.com, eBay.ca, craigslist, etc…
The Colorado Avalanche briefly had a mascot named Howler, who was a sasquatch (and of course they still have the Bigfoot paw-print on their uniform.) Howler was short-lived, however, as the Avalanche introduced Bernie the St. Bernard and quickly retired Howler. Obv a team called the “Avalanche” SHOULD have a St. Bernard dog as its mascot.
I’m aware of Howler, but didn’t include him here since I think he’s actually supposed to be a Yeti (a white-haired Himalayan snow beast), not a darker-haired, North American Sasquatch. Either way, you’re you’re right about Bernie — a St. Bernard is a more appropriate mascot for the Avalanche.
